"My grandfather planted the first vines in 1950 and my father produced the first Champagnes in 1986. Production notes
Made from 100% Pinot Noir on the “Envers des Courbennes” plot planted in 1992. After sorting the grapes on receipt, maceration in stainless steel vats until they are bled off after 24 to 48 hours, aging 6 months in stainless steel vats on the lees. Harvest 2019. Aging: 33 months. Bottling: March 2020. Dosage: 1.5 g/L Bottles produced: 3,750. Certified HVE3 and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne
Tasting notes
This "rosé de saignée" Champagne offers a magnificent collerette. Elegant on the nose with notes of cranberries, raspberry, Montmorency cherry. On the palate, it reveals a stunning harmony between acidity and texture.
